One Shot and Killed After Dispute in Residence

November 28, 2015 (MINNEAPOLIS) On Saturday evening at 7:55 pm, officers from the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a report of an incident inside a residence on the 3300 block of Logan Avenue North. Upon arrival, officers heard a person inside screaming for help. Officers made entrance and located an adult male who had suffered a gunshot wound and was deceased. Another adult male was located in the house and was placed under arrest. Guns were recovered from the residence.

Officers canvassed the neighborhood and spoke with a number of the residents Saturday evening. On Sunday, officers in the 4th Precinct will be going door to door to talk to neighbors to assure them that there is no threat to the neighborhood, and the suspect is in custody.

It should be noted that the two individuals involved knew each other and there is no threat to the public.

The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim along with the nature and cause of death.
