December 8, 2015 (MINNEAPOLIS) On Tuesday morning at 5:34 am., officers from the Minneapolis Police Department responded with paramedics to the intersection of 34th Avenue North and Fremont Avenue North on a report of a person that was down on the ground and in need of medical help.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who appears to have suffered a gunshot wound. This male was deceased. Investigators and officers have canvassed the neighborhood and spoken with a number of people on foot in the area. No suspect description is available at this time.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim as well as the nature and cause of death.
Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department’s 4th Precinct will be out knocking on doors and speaking with people in surrounding neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to speak with officers.
