Male Dies after Late Night Shooting

March 17, 2017 (MINNEAPOLIS) At approximately 10:49 p.m., Minneapolis Police responded to a report of a shooting on the 3600 block of Aldrich Avenue North.

Officers arrived and located an adult male inside the house suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) by paramedics. The male died a short time later.

The name of the victim, as well as the cause and nature of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers from the Fourth Precinct transported several people who were in the home at the time of the shooting to City Hall to be interviewed. This case is being investigated by the Minneapolis Police Department’s Homicide Unit as a suspicious death. Case number 17-095194.
