MPD Continues Search for Information on Terrell Mayes Jr. Murder

“I didn’t think it would be taking this long for a child’s killer to come forward. He was a child.” said Marsha Mayes at Monday’s press conference.

It’s been nearly 4 years since her 3-year-old son Terrell was killed by a stray bullet that pierced his home in the 2600 block of Colfax Av. N. Help us solve Terrell’s case by keeping his story alive.

“I keep Terrell’s picture on my desk everyday to remind me our work is not done, as a parent frankly I can’t imagine burying a child. And so this one is close to the heart, this is why Terrell needs some attention today. He has not gotten the attention he needs…there should be uproar over a 3-year-old killed in his own home.” said Chief Janeé Harteau.
