Male Dies after Early Morning Shooting

October 29, 2016 (MINNEAPOLIS) At approximately 5:03 a.m., Minneapolis Police responded to a report of a male slumped over inside a vehicle at the intersection of 48th Avenue North and Bryant Avenue North.

Officers arrived and located an adult male in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from North Memorial Medical Center (NMMC) determined that the adult male was deceased.

The name of the victim, as well as the cause and nature of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers from the Fourth Precinct went door to door gathering information from residents as well as looking for surveillance video. Homicide investigators are asking witnesses or anyone from the community with information to please contact the police department.
