Man Dies from Late Night Fight, Suspect Arrested

November 24, 2016 (MINNEAPOLIS) Minneapolis Police Officers responded to the 3000 block of Clinton Avenue South at 11:17 p.m. last night on a report of an assault involving a knife.

Officers arrived and located a 28-year-old male victim on the front steps of an apartment building. The victim had been stabbed multiple times. Officers provided medical care to the victim until Minneapolis Fire and Paramedics from Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) arrived. The victim was transported to HCMC where he died this morning from his injuries.

The name of the deceased, as well as the cause and nature of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers from the Third Precinct went door to door gathering information from residents and obtained information about the suspect. A short time later, officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident.

The arrested male has been identified as 19-year-old Robinson Fabricio Palacios-Castro. He was booked into the Hennepin County Jail on the charge of Probable Cause Murder.
