Adult Male Charged in Sunday’s Homicide


January 31, 2017 (MINNEAPOLIS) The Minneapolis Police Department arrested an adult male in connection with the homicide that occurred on the 3700 block of Aldrich Avenue North.

Rondell Russell Camp, age 24, was charged with Probable Cause Murder and will be booked into the Hennepin County Jail upon his release from the hospital.


January 29, 2017 (MINNEAPOLIS) Officers from the Fourth Precinct responded to the 3700 block of Aldrich Avenue North on an assist EMS call at approximately 4:30 p.m. A 911 caller had reported a male heavily bleeding in the alley.

When officers arrived they located an adult male victim with a significant injury to his head in a garage. The male was pronounced deceased by paramedics.

A second adult male, who was located in the alley near the garage, was transported to North Memorial Hospital by paramedics for a non-life threatening leg injury. The male transported to the hospital is being questioned in connection to the death.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased, as well as the cause and nature of his death.

Officers from the Fourth Precinct are going door to door tonight, talking with community members and looking for witnesses. Anyone with information about this death is encouraged to talk with these officers or contact the Fourth Precinct desk.

This case is being investigated by the Minneapolis Police Department’s Homicide Unit. Case Number 17-033947.
