Man Dies at Hospital after Shooting

October 4, 2017 (MINNEAPOLIS) Officers from the 4th Precinct responded to a report of one down in the rear of 2505 Penn Avenue North on 09-29-2017 at approximately 6:46 p.m. The 911 caller reported seeing a male down, with blood around him, next to a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they located a 21-year-old male victim who had been shot in the head. The man was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital (NMHH) by paramedics and where he was listed in critical condition. Today investigators were notified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office that the victim has died.

The name of the deceased will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

There have been no arrests in this homicide, and the case remains under investigation by the department’s Homicide Unit and Crime Lab.
