Woman Arrested in Man’s Death in South Minneapolis

November 23, 2017 (MINNEAPOLIS) Officers from the Third Precinct responded to the 5700 block of 33rd Avenue South at approximately 2:45 p.m. after a female called 911 reporting a male who was unconscious inside of a residence.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male victim who was not breathing and without a pulse. Officers performed CPR on the victim until paramedics from Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) arrived. The victim was transported to HCMC where he died.

Officers at the scene arrested an adult female, who has been taken to Minneapolis City Hall to be interviewed by Investigators from the department’s Homicide Unit.

The name of the deceased, as well as the cause and manner of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

At this point in the investigation, it has been determined the victim and suspect knew each other. There are no other suspects being sought at this point in the investigation.
