Man Found on Sidewalk Dies at Hospital

January 1, 2018 (MINNEAPOLIS) Officers from the 4th Precinct responded to the 3000 block of Emerson Avenue North at approximately 1:48 a.m. after someone called 911 to report a person down.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male lying on the sidewalk. Officers discovered this male had suffered physical trauma. Officers rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to the North Memorial Health Hospital where he died a short time later.
The name of the victim, as well as the nature and cause of his death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

There have been no arrests at this time,
