Minneapolis Police Investigate Suspicious Death

February 2, 2018 (MINNEAPOLIS) In the early morning hours of January 21, 2018 personnel from the Minneapolis Fire Department and paramedics from Hennepin County Medical Center responded to the 200 block of Lowry Avenue NE on a report of a residential accident.

Upon arrival, first responders treated the victim and he was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center. Upon further medical examination by an emergency room physician, it was determined that the individual’s injuries were more consistent with an assault rather than a household accident.

On February 1st, the victim died at Hennepin County Medical Center. The Minneapolis Police Department homicide unit has assigned three detectives to this suspicious death pending the Medical Examiner’s ruling.
