December 25, 2018 (MINNEAPOLIS) The Minneapolis Police Department is happy to announce that Asher Cote-O’Neal has been found safe. He was located walking along a side street a few miles away.

The MPD would like to thank everyone who participated in getting the original message out. This includes the media and people using social networking sites.


December 25, 2018 (MINNEAPOLIS) At approximately 3:30 am today, the Minneapolis Police received a report of a missing 14-year-old boy who was last seen in the area of the 1800 block of 1st Avenue South.  The child’s name is Asher Cote-O’Neal and he is reported to be autistic and is non-verbal.  Asher was last seen at approximately 3:15 am wearing tennis shoes, jeans, black winter hat and a green puffy jacket.

It is believed he may be riding the mass transit to either downtown or the airport. Anyone seeing him is asked to call 911 immediately.
