May 15, 2019 (MINNEAPOLIS) Tuesday evening at 9:20 pm, Minneapolis Police received a Shot Spotter activation on the 1800 block of Lowry Avenue North. While in route to the call, they were advised that a person had been shot.
Minneapolis Police arrived quickly and rendered aid to the juvenile male who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital, with grave injuries, by an Advance Life Support Ambulance.
Officers immediately spoke to several people who were in the area who may have heard or seen something regarding this shooting. A full canvass of the area was conducted when additional officers and investigators arrived on the scene.
The Minneapolis Crime Lab responded, processed the scene and collected evidence to aid in the investigation.
