911 Report Leads Minneapolis Police to a Deceased Adult Male

August 18, 2019 (MINNEAPOLIS) Shortly after 4:00 pm today, Minneapolis Police responded to a report of a person shot on the 1900 block of 1st Avenue South.

Officers arrived in the area and were lead into a building where an adult male was found deceased in a common area of that building.

Investigators from the Minneapolis Police Department Homicide Unit have interviewed people at the scene and are following up on leads generated. No one is in custody at this time.

Preliminary investigation yields that this does not appear to be a random act of violence.

The Minneapolis Police Department Crime Lab responded and processed the scene, collecting evidence for further analysis.
