MPD Officers take training to better handle aggressive dog encounters

January 23, 2020 (MINNEAPOLIS) – We are very excited to be receiving training from a former military paratrooper who has saved 250 dogs from death row!

Steffen Baldwin and his dog Chesty are making sure our officers know everything about dog body language, behavior, and non-lethal methods of dealing with canine/human issues.

This session is part of the mandatory in-service program. It will help our officers better protect themselves and the dogs they encounter.
